Hey there!

Welcome one and all to the little passion project that I have talked about! In light of a complete portfolio overhaul, I figured I would finally do this too. I am so excited to start this journey!

A little about me: I am a senior journalism student at the University of Mississippi and I will be graduating in May. I live in South Texas and have traveled with my family for as long as I can remember. Some of my fondest memories have been experiencing new places with my family and learning about the world around me.

Now for some travel stats: I have traveled to 7 countries and 14 states, including the states I live and attend school in. My most recent trip (that did not involve going to school) was to Las Vegas with my family for my 21st birthday. My most traveled destination is New York City, which I have visited a total of 6 times. My family has also officially booked a Backroads trip to Croatia in July, which as a recent “Game of Thrones” fan, I am over the moon about!

I am so excited to have a place to share all of the knowledge that I have gained through my extensive years of traveling. This blog was actually inspired by a travel guide that I made for a friend, that I ended up sharing with three others.

So, no matter if you are a friend, family, or just a curious mind looking to travel; I hope you learn something and enjoy!
