Katelyn Kimberlin is an emerging culture writer and photographer currently based in New York City. She has publishing experience in both newspapers and magazines. Her reporting focuses on popular and local culture, profiles, and businesses that support the arts. Through her work, she aims to spread the importance of culture and the people who make the stories we love.

Kimberlin is a current Master’s candidate at The New School for Social Research. She will graduate with a degree in Creative Publishing & Critical Journalism in May of 2026.

Kimberlin has worked in Mississippi while in college and has multiple publications in The Daily Mississippian and Square Magazine. She was a part of The Daily Mississippian staff that won the 2019-2020 Associated College Press Newspaper Pacemaker Award.
